The RAIL project came about as a result of a new partnership that was established with the Mackay Austism Support

Group. At the beginning of 2009 Crossroad Arts was approached by MASG members and asked about the possibilities of

a theatre/drama program for young adults with ASD/Aspergers, as a gap had been identified in the services available to

this age group. Out of these conversations the RAIL program was created.
