A woman stands on a cliff top spinning the book binding

taken from all the love stories ever written. Her two sisters

try to make a child from driftwood. A fisherman watches and

waits. While 3 other women on an island try to decide on the

fate of all of them.

Stranded is a story that follows the imaginative writings of a

blind and deaf playwright as he struggles with what life dishes

out and what he chooses to go after.

This new work of magic realism from Crossroad Arts is

community storytelling theatre at its best, combining theatre,

film, puppetry and a live musical score by one of

Queensland’s top composers.
